Our Case Studies: Importing & Exporting Industrial Projects

At IDYAS Shipping, we specialize in the management of large-scale logistics projects, guaranteeing secure and optimized transport for high-value industrial equipment. Here are two examples illustrating our expertise in importing and exportation of industrial equipment.

Importing,

chartering

Ships for the Transport of Storage Silos (40,000 T)

πŸ“ From: BSI supplier, France
πŸ“ To: Customer Mass Cereals, Casablanca

As part of this import project, IDYAS Shipping was responsible for organizing the maritime chartering for the transport of industrial storage silos with a total capacity of 40,000 tons.

These silos, designed for the storage of cereals, required a tailor-made logistics solution in order to ensure their safe transport from France to Morocco.

About the manufacturer BSI

BSI is a leader in the manufacture of storage silos metallic materials intended for various industries. Based in the town of Les Monts d'Aulnay, in Normandy, this company benefits from more than 60 years of experience in the design and installation of storage solutions adapted to industrial requirements. Its silos are used in several sectors

Food industry
Storage of cereals and food raw materials.
Grain industry
Large-scale grain storage and handling.
Sugar industry
Storage of raw and refined sugar. BSI not only manufactures silos in the factory, but also takes care of their assembly on site to ensure optimal deployment.

Our intervention: An optimized chartering solution

Select a suitable vessel
We identified and chartered a vessel specifically designed for the transport of large capacity silos, guaranteeing a optimal security of equipment throughout the maritime journey.
Plan the optimal route
An in-depth analysis of maritime routes has been carried out in order to minimize delays and ensure smooth transit between ports, while taking into account logistical and regulatory constraints.
Supervision of Loading, Unloading and Final Delivery
IDYAS Shipping oversaw the loading, transport and unloading silos with teams specialized in industrial handling, ensuring safe handling. When they arrived at Casablanca, the silos were delivered ready to be installed at Mass CΓ©rΓ©ales, guaranteeing a smooth and smooth transition.

Exporting,

transferring

Industrial Brewery of Morocco (Fez β†’ Kinshasa)

πŸ“ From: Brasserie du Maroc, Fez Industrial Zone
πŸ“ To: New factory in Kinshasa, DRC

In this major project, IDYAS Shipping Has taken care of the complete transfer of the Brasserie du Maroc factory, located in Fez, to kinshasa.

This industrial move required advanced logistics and advanced expertise in multimodal transport.

The transfer of a glass bottle manufacturing plant poses specific challenges

A highly complex logistics project

Dismantling industrial equipment
All the machines and infrastructures were carefully dismantled under the supervision of specialized architects and engineers, guaranteeing methodical uninstallation in accordance with industrial safety standards. Each component has been listed and prepared for transport in order to ensure efficient reassembly at the destination site.
Handling and lifting heavy equipment
The operation required the mobilization of 300 ton specialized cranes, capable of lifting and handling bulky machines safely. Thanks to precise coordination, each element was moved and secured taking into account structural and stability constraints, ensuring a transfer without risk of deterioration.
Secure and optimized ground transport
To transport equipment to the Port of Casablanca, we deployed a fleet of 27 tank carriers and 18 special flat trucks, adapted to the dimensions and weight of the machines. A detailed itinerary has been established to ensure a smooth, secure transport in accordance with current road regulations, minimizing risks and delays.

Once in Kinshasa, the team ofIDYAS Shipping Has assured

Perfectly orchestrated maritime and land management

Unloading and transport to the industrial site
Once we arrive at kinshasa, the equipment has been carefully unloaded from the ship and transferred to the site of the new factory. Thanks to well-orchestrated logistics, each machine was transported safely, while respecting the technical and environmental constraints of the site.
Installation and installation of equipment
In collaboration with local engineers and technical teams, we supervised the assembly and installation of machines in order to guarantee an optimal configuration. Each component has been precisely positioned to ensure efficient operation from the moment of commissioning.
Rehabilitation of production lines
After the installation, we proceeded to reconnecting equipment and adjusting production lines, allowing a quick and smooth resumption of operations. Tests have been carried out to ensure a safe restart and in the best conditions.
